It’s true—colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the only cancers that can be prevented through screening.1 Typically slow-growing, CRC usually starts as a polyp—or growth—which if precancerous can be removed to prevent cancer.

With rising rates of CRC in adults,2 screening is now recommended starting at age 45 for most people, and earlier for those at increased risk.
